It’s here, here! We’re talking about Small Business Saturday – the day we all get out in our neighborhoods and show love to the small businesses by shopping small.  This year at STORY, we’re going big. Ready? Here, here’s an hour-by-hour play by play of what’s in store.

The day kicks off at 9am with brunch from Wafels and Dinges. They’ll be serving up sweet and savory Belgian-style bites curb side for anyone who shops small. Inside at 10am, Brooklyn entrepreneur Jessica Hendricks’ will be sharing the story behind The Brave Collection, her line of give back jewelry.  At 12pm, Milk Truck will be pulling up and serving up its gooey grilled cheese while Cookie DO, the too-good-to-be-true edible cookie dough company will be introducing you to its holiday confections.

At 1pm, Jars by Dani treats you to seconds on desserts, followed by a 2pm sampling of Sel Magique‘s artisan salt blends. From 3-5pm we’ll be making up and waking up with demos and sampling from Stowaway Cosmetics and craft coffee from our neighbors at Woodstock General Supply. Rounding out the line up: Jam Jar Bakery makes ‘slice’ with a tasting of its jar-sized pies at 5pm.

Save room for cocktails! At 6pm the boys behind Brooklyn’s Hella Bitters stop by to get us into the holiday spirit with craft cocktails and at 7pm our neighbors at Appellation Spirits will be on-hand to toast to all things small. Full schedule here:
