NYCxDesign has outgrown a single week. Its 2016 run is from May 3rd to May 17th, and over those days NYC becomes a hub for global conversations, exhibitions, and innovations in design. There’s so much to experience, we curated a few events from the extensive calendar that are can’t-misses for our interests.

Inspired by the overview effect- the mental shift observed in astronauts looking down on Earth, gaining perspective on our role as global passengers- designer Celine Semaan Vernon created a collection to shine light on the Syrian refugee crisis and infuse us with a sense of social responsibility.

Kate Spade New York Home Pop-up Store
In carefully curated rooms that resemble a quintessential New York girl’s Manhattan apartment, Kate Spade features all of her New York Home offerings in one pop-up, including furniture, lighting, rugs, pillows, bedding, dining, kitchenware, stationery, gifs, decorative accents, and bridal.
