PSFK Founder Leads a Fashion Technology Panel at STORY

Who, what…wearable?

There’s no question: wearables are happening. But there still a whole lot we don’t know. For its latest report, “The Future of Wearables” the editors at PSFK explore how tech innovation is evolving the form and function of these devices and the role they’ll play in how we live, work, and connect.

Have questions? Tuesday, September 9 join PSFK editor in chief Piers Fawkes alongside fashion-technologists Amanda Parkes and Billie Whitehouse to discuss key trend stories as well as their predictions for the future of wearable tech. Amanda is an alumni of the MIT media lab and expert style-technology dot connector while Billie is the co-founder of Wearable Experiments, a tech-driven design firm focused on giving  intelligence and purpose to what we wear. The forum will include a presentation of PSFK’s new report by Piers and then an open dialogue among these digital influencers.

After the discussion, watch Fashion Tech in action with in-store demos from Mary Huang, creator of Continuum, the first collation of 3D printed shoes as well as looks from CuteCircuit, the first collection of tech-embedded ready to wear.
