If you’ve checked out our “Home for the Holidays,” you know it’s stocked with gifts for everyone on your list. True story: all of the shelving was custom built by Beirson, a specialty 3-D fabrication firm based in Oregon, as part of our collaboration with ALU a leading provider of end-to-end-retail solutions. The result: a blend of form and function speaks to Bierson’s ability to imbue each project with hand-finished details without compromising the precise needs of the piece – in this case streamlined storage. Ahead the inside STORY behind the collaboration.

Current location? Central Point, Oregon

In one sentence what is your business known for? Creating 3d MDF wood components for retail displays

How did the collaboration with STORY come about? Stephan from ALU was working with STORY. During the process Stephan recommended us for the project, and discussed the project with our team. Alu is a strategic partner of Bierson, and their excitement for the project inspired us to jump in and help out. As we learned more from Jenny we made the decision that we would provide the components needed.

What’s the one thing the internet doesn’t know about your business? Because so many of our projects are components for customers projects, we never get to show off our completed work. So really people have no idea the size of projects we do and the global brands we get to do them for.

What is one piece of advice you would give to an entrepreneur? Stay focused on one thing at a time. Keep your eye on the ball, not the other players.

What small business in your city do you love, who or what makes it great? The Sign Dude, although small, they adapt quickly to help us do projects of all sizes

Where is the first place in your city you’d tell a visitor to go? Crater Lake
