Long STORY Short: Andy & Evan

Know a little guy who doesn’t like to show up to a playdate under dressed? Meet Andy & Evan, a NYC-based line known for tailoring its clothing to meet the needs of mini movers and shakers. Think: classic Houndstooth Pants with an elastic waist and French-cuff button down onesies. Its founders – two former corporate gents – say their goal since the beginning has been to make clothing that’s as dapper (and well made) as dads. We asked them to share their small business story…

WHAT IS YOUR BUSINESS KNOWN FOR?
Our business is known for great boys clothing.

WHAT SMALL BUSINESS IN YOUR COMMUNITY INSPIRES YOU?
Treat House, they make the most delicious bite size Rice Krispy treats, and are based
on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We love their innovation in a food market that is so saturated, and “where everything has seemingly been done”.

WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT?
We’re passionate about our brand and innovation in our product.

WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO OTHER SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS?
Suspend disbelief. So many people will tell you that what you’re doing can’t be done,
and if it could’ve been done, someone would have done it already.
