littleBits Hosts a STEM-Driven Design Event for Kids

“What lifts you up is the mission, seeing the impact of what you’re doing. Unless you feel in your blood what what you’re creating needs to exist, you will not have enough fuel to take you through.”
-Ayah Bdeir, Founder, littleBits

On Wednesday, November 16, 4-6PM, bring your little ones and join us for “Design Time” with littleBits, as part of our series with Microsoft Surface.

littleBits is a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks that empower kids to invent anything, from their own remote controlled car, to a smart home device. The “Bits” snap together with magnets, so no soldering, wiring, or programming is needed.

This time around, kids will be sharpening their STEM-skills as they invent interactive artwork that can wiggle and dance on command. The project brings the walls to life with unique moving masterpieces they can create with imagery from magazines, a poster on the wall, or the art they made in school. Come with imagination, and bring home a unique masterpiece.
