Finell Founder Remixes Aesthetics + Function

In an era defined by ephemerality and ever-changing status updates, Finell’s collection of handbags (which launched exclusively at STORY) will hold your attention. Designed for forever, the range, created by well-known product designer Rebecca Finell, pairs craftsmanship with smart simplicity, borrowing on elegant forms to rethink functional aesthetics. As Rebecca explains of her cross-category approach, “I’m inspired by the simplicity and thoughtfulness of Japanese and Scandinavian design.”

Folded, geometric shapes nod to Japanese origami, while the use of materials like calf-skin leather lend luxury. And following the Scandinavian tradition, bags (like all of Rebecca’s inspiring creations) are designed for every day usefulness – totes feature a deep, fully lined interior and pouches have an easy to clutch shape.

Because labels aren’t your bag, but inspiring design definitely is.
