The Making Of…
STORY’s Brilliant Holiday Wall

It’s true: the holidays are a circus! This year we took that sentiment to heart with a “something for everyone” gift shop experience inspired by The Greatest Showman, the new big-screen musical that celebrates the life of P.T. Barnum. But there can’t be a show without any lights, so our friends at GE created a spectacular marquee sign lit by their latest innovation: vintage-inspired LED bulbs. These energy-efficient lamps boast a warm glow and evocative design, which our Home for The Holidays designer, the revered David Stark, saw as the perfect fit for our very own Big Tent display.

Dimmable lamps that last up to 15,000 hours, GE LED Vintage Style bulbs make their debut at STORY as a shining combination of classic form with modern-day brilliance. So it’s with a big ta-da that we present to you our brightest STORY yet! Check out how we brought it to life…

It all starts with a blank canvas.

Then we build a wall (the good kind!)…

How many STORY workers does it take to screw in an LED bulb?

When there’s over 300, a lot!

Time to get wired…

A little heavy lifting…

And, ta-da! Admiration hour is nigh…
