An Evening with Anjali Kumar, author of Stalking God: My Unorthodox Search for Something to Believe In

Date/Time
Date(s) - Feb 21
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Thrive’s charismatic Chief Content Officer, Callie Schweitzer, will host a conversation with new author Anjali Kumar.  Fresh off the debut of her first book Stalking God: My Unorthodox Search for Something to Believe In and TED talk (check it out – it’s a great one!), Anjali will join us for a candid conversation about one thing we all share – a search for something to believe it; she will also be signing books following the conversation.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:

Anjali Kumar is a Brooklyn born, first generation Indian American author, attorney, advisor, speaker, and “idea acupuncturist”.  She is currently the Chief People Officer and General Counsel at Cheddar, a post cable network and was formerly the Head of Social Innovation and Founding General Counsel at Warby Parker. Prior to joining Warby Parker, Anjali was Senior Counsel at Google.  Anjali’s first book, Stalking God: My Unorthodox Search for Something to Believe In, humorously chronicles her attempts to answer questions she can’t Google an answer to for her six year old daughter.

Callie Schweitzer is the Chief Content Officer of Thrive Global, Arianna Huffington’s new health and well-being company. She is also an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in many major publications. She was named to AdWeek’s list of Future Publishers and to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Media twice. TIME named named her Twitter feed one of the world’s best in 2013. Business Insider named her one of the 30 Most Important Women in Tech Under 30 in 2013. Prior to Thrive, Callie worked at Time Inc., TIME, Vox Media and Talking Points Memo.
